Meet Surendra Garg

Dr. Surendra Garg, MD is an experienced cardiology and internal medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. With decades of clinical experience, he focuses on diagnosing, managing, and preventing a wide range of heart and vascular conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, and cardiovascular risk management.

Dr. Garg completed his medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College, University of Delhi, followed by residency training in internal medicine at Detroit Medical Center / Sinai-Grace Hospital and cardiology fellowship training at Henry Ford Hospital. He has also been actively involved in fellowship training programs at Detroit Medical Center, contributing to the development and mentorship of future physicians.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Garg has a long-standing commitment to research. His early work includes research on post-transfusion hepatitis in 1964, and he has since published and presented internationally. He continues to contribute to research in cardiology and internal medicine.

He is board certified in Internal Medicine and has spent over five decades caring for patients, bringing extensive clinical knowledge and a patient-centered approach to care.
